HiSoft

Founded in 1983, HiSoft was considered a game-changer in the software and hardware solutions industry being the first company to sell both hardware and software –a one-stop-shop for all computer needs. To put that in perspective, in that era, software was bought from one source and hardware from another. HiSoft was the birth of the total solution.

HiSoft grew rapidly, becoming one of Australia’s fastest growing companies and employing over 400 people in 5 countries. Within 3 years, HiSoft held a staggering 35% market share and had become Australia’s largest privately owned computer company with a turnover in excess of $225million.

The road to success was completed in 1986when it was acquired by National Mutual.
